These are but a few guidelines on how you can increase your affiliate sales and continually grow your affiliate checks. Sure there can be a lot of other tips that out there, and if you think they would work, we won't discourage you from following them. What's important is that you be able to find a way to: attract more traffic to your site, induce your visitors to click on the ads on your site, and be able to promote your merchant's products even outside the boundary of your website. If you can do these, there's no reason for you to fail in affiliate marketing.

Today, I've joined some traffic generators, in order to increase the number of visitors to my blog. Right now, I'm promoting my blog using those new traffic generating websites. I'll present them below, using a brief description for every program.

AdWords from Linkm9

This advertising service provided by Linkm9 is similar to Google AdWords, the only difference is that you don't have to pay to advertise through it and also, you don't receive money if someone clicks on the ads displayed on your site or blog. Instead, you receive traffic and visitors.
All you have to do in order to start earning free visitors and traffic is to sign up now, create your ad, place a piece of HTML code on your website/blog...and you're done. There are a lot of ways to make your blog known on the internet, but you have to choose the correct ones. Where to promote? Well, the list of places for blog promotion is too big to be posted here. I'll tell you some blog tops and sites where you can submit the blog and get some traffic.

Also, you can start link exchanges with other blog owners. TIP: I know you're looking for traffic and visitors, but beware to who you're linking. Don't link to websites or blogs that have explicit content, such as nudity, pornographic content, foul or obscene language. This may affect your own reputation as blogger. Instead, try to trade links with bloggers that have same interests as you. For example, if you blog about making money online, you should link to other blogs that talk about this subject or any appropriate topic. If you blog about travelling, look for bloggers that talk about vacations, places to visit, or anything else related to this kind of topic, in their blogs..i think you got the idea.
Other places to promote your blog or website can be the forums. Again, make posts in forums related to your blog's topic. Don't post money making ideas in a programmers forum..you can figure yourself why not :) Try to submit your personal blog to search engines ( you can either choose paid submission, which is faster, or if don't have enough money, try free submission. It may take long time for your site or blog to be included, but it may worth ).
Search on Google for free traffic ideas, read articles on how to get traffic, experiment with different free or paid traffic generators, try what ever methods needed ( and are ok to use ) in order to increase the number of visitors to your blog/website.
Other methods to drive some traffic are your blog's feeds. Use services as FeedBurner.com to syndicate your content and get subscribers. Every time you post something new, ping Technorati, Del.icio.us, Newsgator and other websites like it. To ping such sites, you can use FeedBurner's ping tool called PingShot, or other pinging services like Pingomatic.com ( which are free to use ).
Use any other free advertising methods to increase your traffic. After you manage to make some money, switch to paid advertising ( but don't spend all your hard-earned money on expensive ads. Choose cheap, but efficient ones. )
If you're displaying Google ads or ads from any ad network similar to Google, NEVER include your site or blog to auto hits websites! This is against the rules and can result in you being banned from such ad networks. Imagine what this could mean for your earnings! Also, don't use any SPAM method just to get more visitors. SPAM isn't allowed by no means nowhere.
Try any accepted method to generate traffic but be sure to avoid those which can cause you troubles.

How and where to promote your affiliate programs?
Just as I said before, you can use any paid or free method to increase your traffic and your earnings from affiliate programs. Be careful what you promote and where. Some affiliate programs such as gambling, casinos, adult programs are not allowed on many free/paid promotion websites. If you are promoting such money making opportunities, list them along with your blog, on specialized websites, related to it.
What you should know about when using Google Adsense ads..or any other ad networks?
First, Google Adsense is free to join. So are Bidvertiser, AdBrite and Obeus ( the ones i'm using to monetize this blog ). You can make money with those networks, when a visitor clicks on the respective ads. Don't encourage your visitors to click on ads. Don't use phrases such as " Please click this ads ", " All I want is one click on this ads " or anything similar. The visitor should click the ad AT HIS OWN WILL and not because you ask him/her ( in other words, he/she clicks the ad only if he/she wants ). You have to understand that even if you join this programs for free, you aren't allowed to abuse it. It's ok to use words like " Sponsored links " or " Sponsors " in places where you place ads..but nothing more. Also, don't start clicking on the ads from your own site/blog. Again, this is against the rules of Google, BDV, AdBrite, Obeus, etc. This can get your account disabled too. This services ARE NOT get paid to click websites! You shouldn't even sign up if you think you can cheat and make money. Because you simply can't cheat their systems. By clicking on your own ads that you're serving, you will get banned on Google before even receiving your first check. So play fair, and you'll have no problem.

Other ways of getting visitors to your blog, that haven't been mentioned before in this post:

1. Use a script such as " Tell-a-friend ", which can help visitors to tell their friends about your site/blog
2. Use bookmarking scripts and " Add to favorites " buttons. You can find such tools on Google. Just search for them and you'll find some easy to use scripts. All you have to do usually is to place a HTML code on your website/blog and you're done. Very easy task :) .

This are my tips and advice about blog/website promotion. Bring as many visitors as you can to you, without spamming or using forbidden traffic generators. My best wishes to you and take care...

Now that you've seen some ways to make money online ( and i'll keep adding new ones after i'll test it ), it's time to get some free traffic to your website/blog and start earning cash through your visitors. After all, visitors are very important for a business, they can become customers and they can earn you money by buying your product, service, or by joining to your affiliate programs.
I know you want to see those free traffic generators, but before I have to tell you something else: So let's suppose that you've decided to promote your programs with the help of an website or blog. But you don't have enough money to build and host a professional site, to buy a domain, or to advertise it. What should you do?
Try free hosting, free blogs, free website builders, free advertising. You think it's not possible to find such things? Well, it is. True, it's not easy to start making money on the internet, but not impossible.
Once you have everything in place, you can build your site online, using website builders and free hosting, or you can build a site offline and then upload it to a free host. After the website is ready, has some good content and is online, it's time to promote it.
Indeed, having an website hosted on paid hosting and having a domain name and beeing advertised through ad networks like AdWords (from Google ), AdBrite, Bidvertiser, can make you money faster then using free methods, it's not too hard to earn money while your site is hosted free, has a subdomain name and is promoted using free promotion methods. Where/how to build an website online/offline?
1. Building a site offline: first, you need an website builder ( or website editor, website creator as is it called often ). You don't have to be a programmer to build an website. Because you'll need that source when you'll have to insert certain HTML codes, such as banners, links, or paid ads. Without it, you can not insert those codes..
When your site is ready, you can upload it on a free host ( there are plenty of free hosts on the web, just choose the right one ). Your site should be up and running after it is uploaded. Don't forget to upload all files, so your site to load and work properly ( all pages, images, audio or video files should be uploaded on your free host account, or else won't be available on the internet ).
Once this issues are solved, you can promote your website and start getting visitors and make money. It won't happen instantly though, so you should be patient.
2. Building a site online: this process should be a bit simple. First, you have to choose a free host that offers an website builder, included in the free hosting plan ( such as www.own-free-website.com ). After that, just create pages, fill it with content ( in this case, with information about the programs you promote, links/banners for signing up visitors ) and click on a button to publish those pages. Once you've done that, the website should be available on the internet instantly. No need to upload anything, all pages are hosted on to your account. Any changes you make, will appear online to users fast.
When the website is ready, you can start promoting it using any free or paid method you want.

The concept is similar to Super-Clix: you register at RealHitz4U, you create an add of your own, get the html code requierd to display other ads and place it on your own blog. Your ad will only be shown on other websites or blogs, if you ad the html code i've told you. If you choose not to copy/paste the code provided, your ad will be stopped and will not run in the network untill you fix the code problem. 7. Link Box

Link Box offers you, the blogger or website owner, to bring free traffic and visitors. How this works? First, you have to register free at http://www.linkbox.ws/ , create your own link to your website and then place a snippet code ( or html code, it's the same thing ) on your blog or site, in order to be included in the free LinkBox traffic network. After you put the html code provided by LB, a box with several links should appear on your own blog. You can change it's colors, so that would fit with the colors you have on the website or blog you own. Pretty simple task. 8. Plain Links

Plain Links is a link exchange service ( free to use ), where you follow the same path as you would follow at Link Box..I don't think is necessary to say the above explanation again. In fact, Link Referral is not something new. You may ask why all the programs listed 'till now have the " NEW " word in front of their names? I've decided to put the programs above in the same lines, because they cover the same subject: search engine submission. SES ( or search engine submission ) is a great way to receive traffic from search engines and get listed on them. There are a lot of them on the net, but the biggest and the most known one is Google, followed by Yahoo! and other smaller search engines. Every website or blog owner fights to get a spot on the first pages of Google or Yahoo! because they know how important that is. So, they optimize their websites or blogs in order to get listed, based on keywords and meta tags. This process is also called " Search Engine Optimization ", or SEO. Meta tags are not a priority for search engines this days, so even if you would use it, it wouldn't help too much. On the other hand, keywords are very important: your website can be found on search engines, based on what kind of KW ( keywords ) you use in your website's or blog's title, description and content.

You had to tweak yourself the layouts of the ads so they would fit in your site or blog. But right now, they switched to this standard layouts..so you can display different banners with ads.
Again, Obeus may not be an alternative that you would use on a big site, but if you've just started a new website or blog, and it's a small one, Obeus may be just right for you.

The same thing applies to blogs and websites: if a visitor/subscriber/member of the respective website or blog likes the content and information he/she found, it can donate a certain amount of money, for helping the webmaster ( or owner ) to improve.
You too can accept donations through your blog, using different e-payments processors ( E-Gold, PayPal, MoneyBookers, etc ), by displaying a button linked to your preffered payement method, somewhere on your blog or site. they find no meaning in what they do for a living. This can affect other aspects of their lives, and they can

become miserable all the time. Maybe this is what people mean when they say that money cannot buy happiness.

If you are looking for ways to make money, try to follow your heart, but you should still remain practical. If

you love to write, you might be able to earn a good living. Other people struggle for years before they finally

surrender. Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams, but don’t let your family starve in the process.

advice from a career counselor. They can assist in narrowing down jobs that are suitable for you.
